NetServices

Haiku comes with three network services built in. As of R1A4, ssh is enabled by default. This app is a gui setting that will allow the user to enable/disable services as he sees fit.

NOTE: recent PM versions of HAIKU do not need this setting file as the settings are included in the Network Preferences applet.

Thumb

Command line thumbnail program.

Usage: Thumb Filename height <P> <T type>

example:

Thumb image.jpg 50

This produces a jpg image file named thumb-image.jpg 50 pixels high.

Thumb image.jpg 50 P T png

This produces a png image file named thumb-image.png 50 percent as tall as the original.

There is actually nothing random about this, the screensaver is changed every 3 minutes to the next file in the directory list. However it does appear to be random for the user.
